GP services at the Forest Group Practice in Brandon will continue to be delivered by the Swan Surgery on a permanent basis from 1 February.

Patients will continue to receive the same high quality health care services and the GP partners will continue seeing patients in Brandon. All other staff will remain in place.

Rachel Helliar, practice manager said: “The Swan Surgery has been temporarily managing the practice since May 2012 and we are delighted to have been awarded the contract to permanently deliver GP services.

“We have over 25 years experience of delivering high quality healthcare services to patients in Bury St Edmunds and we look forward to continuing working in Brandon.

“The Swan Surgery is committed to making sure patients can easily access the health care services they need and we are determined to make GP services in Brandon the best they can be.”

Ian Bentley, NHS Suffolk’s interim head of primary care said: “After a rigorous procurement process NHS Suffolk is pleased to provide the patients of Forest Group Practice with a local service provider that will build on the services already provided.”
