The Suffolk Health Forum is a way for patients and communities to stay in touch with activities, news and to have a voice on issues relating to health and healthcare.

Any individual who lives in the NHS Suffolk area or who has a connection to the NHS Suffolk area (e.g. who works here or is the carer of someone who lives here) is welcome to join Suffolk Health Forum. Any community group, voluntary organisation or stakeholder which has an interest in health and healthcare in the NHS Suffolk area can also join. Membership is free.

Members of Suffolk Health Forum

  • You will receive regular updates on healthcare, community news and issues in the form of a newsletter.
  • You will be notified of, and invited to, local health and community events.
  • You can choose whether to receive updates by email or by post.
  • From time to time you may be invited to take part in projects, surveys and meetings which could be of particular interest to you, for example, because it’s taking place in your local area; or because it’s about a health matter you highlighted as important when you joined.  Participation is always optional; you don’t have to take part if you don’t want to.
  • Members of Suffolk Health Forum can also put themselves forward to join the NHS Suffolk Community Reference Group.
  • Membership is completely free, you can choose the extent of your involvement and you can discontinue at any time.

How to Join
It’s extremely easy to join the Suffolk Health Forum.  Please click here to sign up online. To see the full leaflet click on the icon on the left. You can also print it off and send it by post.
